National Night Out

Tuesday night was National Night Out. Our new neighborhood was having some festivities to celebrate the beginning of its neighborhood watch program. There were policemen and firemen with cars and trucks out to help support us and for us to support them. The firemen had plastic helmets and the policemen had goody bags with stickers and coloring books. The neighborhood provided food, drinks, and popsicles. Malachi enjoyed his helmet and popsicles. He was sweaty from head to toe. Almost his whole head was wet due to the heat and running around. It made for a tired but happy boy, and we got to meet some neighbors. Fun was had by all.
