Why in the world does my son have the urge to pull every single book off the shelf, just to leave it laying there for me to pick up? He's a child. Oh, yeah. I forgot...again.
My best friend has SIX children and has told me that every one of them has done this. The ones that were strictly disciplined for it (the oldest ones) did it, and the ones that got no discipline (the youngest) did it. She said she finally figured out that it is just a developmental thing that kids do. Now she puts the baby books and board books on the lowest shelves, and lets them pull them off.
